Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with Subject Detection

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II delivers exceptional speed and accuracy in autofocus. Leveraging deep learning technology, its algorithms enable precise subject detection, ensuring rapid and reliable autofocus that captures the intended subject instantaneously.

Simultaneous Recording

Equipped with dual SD card slots, the EOS C80 allows for simultaneous recording of various formats, including XF-AVC, XF-HEVC S, XF-AVC S, and proxy data to one card, while capturing 6K RAW internally to the other card. This efficient workflow facilitates faster video editing.

Advanced Video Functionality

The Canon EOS C80 offers a wide dynamic range thanks to the inclusion of Canon Log 2 and Canon Log 3. Canon Log 2, in particular, provides up to 16 stops of dynamic range. To capture fast-paced action, such as sports or concerts, the camera supports 4K 120p recording. Additionally, users have the flexibility to manually select from three base ISO levels, ranging from low to high, to suit different shooting conditions. For added convenience, the camera also features an Auto Selection mode that automatically switches between base ISO levels to optimise image quality and maintain dynamic range.
