Key Features of the X-T50
The Fujifilm X-T50 pairs a high-resolution 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 image sensor with an X-Processor 5 engine, producing exceptional, highly detailed images in all lighting conditions and stunning 6K video. ISO 125 is now a native setting (not just expanded), and the camera delivers impressive dynamic range for available-light shooting.
At just 438 grams with a rounded, smooth-handling body, the X-T50 is built for handheld shooting. A new 7.0-stop in-body image stabilisation system ensures consistently sharp results as you move through your day.

One of our favourite features of the X-Series is Fujifilm's film simulations. The X-T50 includes all 20 simulations — including the latest Reala Ace — and introduces a brand new film simulation dial on the top plate. Users can quickly switch between popular simulations and pre-selected custom options without diving into menus.

The X-T50 rewards a manual approach to photography, with a dedicated shutter speed dial, exposure compensation dial, and physical aperture rings on many Fujifilm XF lenses. The high-quality EVF with diopter adjustment suits eye-level shooting, while the two-way tilting LCD screen enables waist-level framing or easy self-shooting.
AF performance is excellent for both stills and video, with an updated algorithm and subject detection AF powered by deep-learning AI — the system identifies the type of subject being tracked and adjusts its behaviour accordingly.
How Does the X-T50 Compare?
The X-T50 shares the same 40.2MP sensor as the flagship X-T5, but the X-T5 adds dust and moisture resistance, dual SD card slots, and an ISO dial in place of the simulation dial — making it the better choice for outdoor professionals and manual purists.
Compared to the X-T30 II, the X-T50 is slightly larger but brings significantly more resolution and the addition of in-body image stabilisation — a meaningful upgrade for handheld shooters.
