Ted's Camera Hire is a simple process that is in place to have you out of the store capturing brilliant photos as quickly and painlessly as possible. This is what makes it perfect for those unplanned events, or events that seem to have snuck up on you. Camera hire in Sydney is especially simple, thanks to our Sydney store always being well-stocked with all types of equipment, from beginner-friendly to professional gear.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to help you choose the perfect equipment to hire, as well as walk you through the process of hiring. You can read the finer details of our camera hire process here but here are a few points to get you up to speed.
- You can hire equipment for as little as one day and for as long as required
- If you love your item and wish to make a purchase, two days of your hire fees can be put towards your purchase in the form of a store credit
- We have a big range of gear available for hire from popular brands Canon, Sony and Nikon but if you are after something not currently listed, we are happy to look into it for you
- Camera hire is only available for Australian citizens and permanent residents, aged 18 and over
- A security deposit is required, which will be put towards a repair in the event of damage to your hired equipment
