2021 Macro Photography Workshop | Sydney | Beginner (119548)

• Course Description

  Explore and learn the extreme close-up world of Macro Photography!

  Macro photography involves the extreme close-up photography of very small subjects in which they appear larger than life size.

  Exploring and learning about the extreme close-up world of macro photography is both challenging and rewarding.

  In this 1.5 hour workshop, you will:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of all aspects needed to take a great macro/close up photo
  • Learn about the right equipment and lenses required for macro photography
  • Walk away feeling more confident than ever before in your abilities and in your understanding of how to take a great macro photo

  What you need to bring:

  • Your own DSLR or Mirrorless camera (all brands welcome!)
  • Your Macro lense (if you do not have, please let us know so that we can arrange one for you to try out)
  • Tripod (if you do not have, you may use one of the display tripods in store)
  • A memory card, so you can keep your images after the event

  BONUS: You will receive a beautiful 8x10 print of your best shot courtesy of the Ted's Print Lab for FREE after this class to take home!

  To support a COVID-safe environment for staff and customers, please note the following:

  • At all times, you will be required to maintain a 1.5m distance from others in this workshop.
  • There is strictly no sharing of products and materials - you must use your own camera at all times, and your own pen and notebook. 
    
  • If the law of the state you are in requires the wearing of face masks in an indoor environment, you must bring your own mask and wear it for the duration of this workshop. Masks are not provided by our staff, and all Ted's Camera Stores locations strictly abide by the law as stated by Federal and State Government. 
  • Hand sanitiser is supplied in store at all times.

  • Workshop areas and demonstrational products are regularly sanitised.
  • If at any time rules or regulations are implemented by either Federal or State Governments (e.g. the use of face masks or social distancing requirements), you must adhere to these rules in order to participate in this workshop.

  • Upon signing in for this event, you will be asked to sanitise your hands before handling demonstrational products
  • We encourage the use of face masks particularly in indoor settings, and if your state government requires their use at any given time, you must wear one in order to participate in this workshop
  • Social distancing measures are in place for all indoor workshops/experiences, and for outdoor workshops/experiences we strongly encourage social distancing where physically possible
  • There is strictly no sharing of demonstrational products - if you are allocated any demonstrational products to try, you must hand these back to your workshop trainer for cleaning before they can be given to another customer
