The Sony 28mm f2 lens is compatible with all E-mount mirrorless cameras, allowing all users to up their landscape, and similarly wide-angle devoted shooting. When used on the APS-C format models some of the width is lost, with a 42mm equivalent focal length provided. With its fast f2 maximum aperture, this lens can be taken out for a long day of shooting without a tripod, and it will still be shooting sharp images when the light starts to fade. Also, a benefit of this fast aperture is the ability to experiment with depths of field.
