A speedy HSM focus motor will easily lock onto your subject, with overwhelming accuracy and speed, while the fast f1.8 maximum aperture is excellent for premium depth of field control. Out of focus areas are smooth and creamy in appearance, providing a dreamlike or euphoric quality to your portraits - this is thanks to the 9-blade circular aperture diaphragm.
