This small stature is even more impressive when considering its large maximum aperture, which is a constant f2.8. Suitable for the Sony E-Mount lineup, this wide angle lens will add an extra dimension to your landscapes, cityscapes and similar wide-scoping applications.

The Tamron 17-28mm F/2.8 Di III RXD lens provides exceptional usability for your Sony E-Mount lens lineup, with its fast f2.8 constant aperture and ultra-wide zoom range. Designed for the sleek and stylish Sony Mirrorless system, the 17-28mm is suitably portable, weighing in at 420 grams and measuring a discreet 99mm in length. This is the ideal wide-angle zoom option to add to your daily shooting kit, for improving the quality and style of your landscapes, cityscapes, architectural shots and more.

This Tamron lens features a speedy and reliable RXD stepping AF motor, which is great for keeping up with your subjects on the go, as you choose between stills and videos as your form of capture. With its use of XLD and LD elements, images captured with this lens are sharp and detailed, with a notable absence of fringing and aberrations. BBAR coating has been applied to certain elements within the construction, which results in contrasty images with bright colours, as well as suppression of ghosting and flare. Although designed for Full-Frame E-Mount cameras, this lens can also be mounted on APS-C format models on which it produces a 25.5-42mm equivalent zoom range. The Tamron AF 17-28mm f2.8 Di III RXD lens has been built to withstand outdoor usage, with a moisture-resistant construction as well as fluorine coating.
