Continuing down the path that was laid out by its much-loved successor, this new Pentax K-1 Mark II Digital SLR brings with it faster processing speeds and improved imaging performance. The full-frame 36.4MP CMOS sensor and Prime IV processor are capable of producing brilliant high-resolution images at up to 4.4 frames per second, and thanks to a unique accelerator unit, noise is suppressed throughout the ISO range, right to the incredible top setting of 819200. The built-in shake reduction system encourages hand-held shooting, with the ability of reducing camera shake at a rate of 5-stops, while the Pixel Shift resolution eliminates moiré, allowing Pentax to leave out the anti-aliasing filter, which leads to impressive image sharpness.

Pentax K1 Mark II Body
The original Pentax K-1 announced Pentax as one to watch in the full-frame DSLR field and this new K-1 Mark II cements the brand's place as a major player. Based around a 36.4MP full-frame CMOS sensor and an updated Prime IV processing engine, the K-1 Mark II will bring an improvement in image quality and processing speeds, and thanks to an accelerator unit there is a notable boost in low-light performance, right through to the top ISO of 819200. Some other noteworthy features of this exciting new body included up to 4.4 frames per second continuous shooting and Full HD video recording.
There's no room for blurry pictures, with the Pentax K-1 Mark II including 5-Axis In-Body shake reduction, which can suppress the effects of camera shake by an impressive 5 shots. As well as being equipped to handle all manner of movement, this system is compatible with every K-mount lens, thanks to its being built-in the camera's body. Also built into the K1 Mark II's body is the unique Pixel Shift Resolution II setting, which shifts and composes 4 shots to capture maximum clarity and an effective resolution of 42MP. In the K-1 Mark II, this feature can now be implemented when shooting handheld, a feature which Pentax refers to as Dynamic Pixel Shift resolution.
