You will be issued with a cleaning cloth on purchase and be eligible to
take your lens or flash to any our stores for an annual check performed by
our staff. Any defect will be handled by our priority repair service. We
believe in offering our customers not only the right camera at a great
price but the Seal of Confidence to know that if something goes wrong, you
are in our care.
- If any part of your lens or flash is found to be defective in factory
materials or workmanship it will be repaired or replaced by Ted's free of
- Ted’s will offer an annual lens or flash check at any of their
- Ted’s will offer a priority repair service should your lens or
flash require repairs for any reason.
You are also entitled to a free cleaning cloth to be provided at the
time of sale.
To claim any right or benefits under
the Total Care Package, you must return the relevant product to any
Ted’s Camera Store as listed on this document, with proof of product
purchase and this duly completed Total Care Package document (or other
appropriate proof of Package purchase). This Total Care Package does not
cover batteries or ordinary wear and tear, nor does it cover damage or
defect resulting from accident, misuse, abnormal use or abuse, dirt, water
or battery leakage, tampering or servicing performed or attempted by
unauthorised person(s). The Total Care Package does not apply to any
product used for professional purposes. Should your product be replaced
during the period of this Total Care Package, only the balance of the
period of the Total Care Package applies.
OTHER RIGHTS: The Ted's Total Care
Package applies in addition to your rights under any applicable warranty
offered by the manufacturer, and the guarantees, rights and remedies
conferred by the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable Commonwealth,
State and Territory legislation. The Total Care package does not exclude,
affect or limit those guarantees, rights or remedies, except to the
extent that their application may lawfully be excluded or limited. In
particular, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under
the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund
for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and
the failure does not amount to a major failure.
