Sony RX10 IV - Huge zoom and blistering speed
The blueprint that Sony laid down with previous superzooms is still present in the new RX10IV, but now they have added lightning speed to the mix. Like you have previously seen before in larger DSLR cameras, the RX10IV is fast to fire and to focus, so you won't have any trouble keeping up with the pace. A Fast hybrid system, which includes 315 phase-detection points and contrast-detection AF is the driving force behind this focus performance. According to Sony this system is capable of attaining focus in as little as 0.03 seconds! Once your subject is in focus you are ready to shoot, where the RX10IV will only impress you further, thanks to 24 frames per second continuous shooting.
With a dust and moisture-resistant body, the RX10IV can accompany anywhere you end up, never mind the weather forecast. Within this rugged body is Sony’s latest 20.1MP 1-inch RS stacked CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor. This combo delivers clean and detailed images every time you push the shutter button. A fresh and new OLED viewfinder helps you to frame your pictures and have fun while doing so. Keeping up with the modern world, the RX10IV features built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. Your friends and family can now know where you are and what you are looking at faster than ever before.
As is expected of an RX series camera the RX10IV has a real whopping lens up front; a 24-600mm Zeiss-Vario Sonnar T. This lens and its 25x range can adequately frame your subject from a remarkable distance, so don't worry too much if you can't get a closer seat. As well as impressive zoom this lens is also perfect for handheld shooting, with a fast f2.4-4 maximum aperture rating. Even when you are zoomed right out across a field or stadium the lens can be opened up to a respectable aperture, resulting in sharper pictures and even selective focus control.
