The Sigma AF 65mm F2 DG DN C lens features a premium optical design which incorporates 2 Aspherical and 1 SLD lens element for advanced sharpness and clarity. Super multi-layer coating has also been applied to limit ghosting and flare and enhance contrast and colour accuracy. Although lightweight, this Sigma lens is well-made, with a rugged brass bayonet mount as well as rubber sealing to provide dust and moisture-sealing.

A stepping motor is included to provide fast and quiet AF performance, which is great for focusing on varied subjects. A manual aperture ring is available for the benefit of manual shooting, while "A" position is available for automated shooting.
