This Sigma Art lens is also built well physically, with a dust and splash-proof design, thanks to sealings at various critical points, a rubber gasket around the mount, and an all-important protective coating to the front element.

It includes a fast and quiet stepping motor for tracking moving subjects, as well as smooth and responsive manual focus. The physical aperture ring of this lens is great for anyone wanting to make fast and intuitive manual adjustments, while as the aperture ring is de-clickable, it can be used for quiet operation while shooting movies. Another addition to this aperture ring is its lockable function, which saves it from bumping off Auto mode during shooting. Other important additions to this exciting lens are a focus mode switch, and an AFL button for customising your shooting experience.
