Canon EF 70-300mm f4.0-5.6 IS USM II

Canon EF 70-300mm f4.0-5.6 IS USM II

The Canon EF 70-300mm f4.0-5.6 IS USM Mark II is an amazing, versatile lens perfect for action, wildlife and sports photography for the hobbyist photographer.
, Regional Victoria, Australia, 28/11/2017

I purchased the Canon EF 70-300mm f4.0-5.6 IS USM Mark II some months ago after requiring a telephoto zoom lens, and this lens has proven to be a worthwhile investment. I've used it for many things, ranging from some aviation spotting at airshows, sports/fast moving subjects and wildlife - and I haven't encountered a single error in my time using this lens. Auto-focus is near instant, and the image stabilization is brilliant, as well as having very low distortion and vignetting whilst wide open.
For a hobbyist photographer such as myself who is looking for a well built, ergonomic and easy to use telephoto zoom, this would likely be the best choice. I shoot with it on an EOS 80D (formerly a Rebel T6/EOS 1300D, upgraded not long after getting the lens) and the pair together work seamlessly without any nuisance.

Panasonic Lumix TZ90 Silver

Panasonic Lumix TZ90 Silver

Daily Camera
, NSW/ACT, 22/11/2017

I purchased the TZ90 to replace a well used and sometimes abused TZ10.

This is a very capable camera and after 2 months I’m still finding new features; I don’t believe this is a camera for a “Happy Snapper”, while it’s very capable at that level it’s more advanced features make it the perfect in my case on the belt camera to capture high speed nature or sport photos.

Pros: Compact, Build quality, Battery life, Screen size
Cons: Complicated

Nikon AF-S 18-300mm f3.5-6.3 G ED VR (DX) - New Version

Great lens, never miss a shot
, Brisbane, 19/11/2017

I used this lens for over a year, love it, I do change it occasionally to a wider lens but then find I want to take a want a longer lens for the next shot. Its great to walk around with if you like taking all different types of photos, from close butterfly’s to animals. Main draw back I surpose would be I wish you could use an extender with it for those really long shots .

Very happy with this camera
, Noosa, 10/10/2017

I was looking for something to replace my dedicated Canon HD pro video camera. Needed a 20 x zoom, quality UHD video and built in ND filters. This camera
pretty much fills the bill. Only downside that I can see is the poor battery time but I can live with that. Also very happy with the Ted's Cameras Maroochydore service.

Hahnel Tuff TTL Wireless Flash Trigger

Hahnel Tuff TTL Wireless Flash Trigger

Superb - reliable and easy-to-use
, Melbourne, 28/09/2017

This trigger system has been super reliable with all of my Canon DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Very easy to set up and speedlites always fire (some trigger systems intermittently don't fire). My only gripe is that I bought a Canon 80D and even after being sent the official firmware update for the 80D from Hahnel, the units still do not work with that camera. If you have a camera which works with this system it is fantastic and I highly recommend it.

Nikon KeyMission 170

Great Actioncam
, Melbourne, 16/09/2017

From a usage perspective, I found the KeyMission 170 very comfortable to use, and once I had figured out how to get SnapBridge working, the user experience is very good. I liked using it much more than my GoPro. In a firmware update, I would like to see Nikon add the exposure control and correction.
