With a 180-degree angle of view on 35mm format, this lens is perfect for capturing expansive landscapes, architectural shots, and immersive compositions that demand exceptional breadth.

Optical performance is where this lens truly shines. The 12-element, 8-group design incorporates 2 aspherical elements and 3 extra-low dispersion glass elements to deliver sharp, high-resolution images across the frame. Samyang's Nano Coating System minimises flare and ghosting, ensuring clean, vibrant results even in challenging lighting conditions. The smooth manual focus ring gives you precise control in any situation, from bright daylight to low-light environments.

Build quality is solid and compact. The aluminium alloy construction keeps weight down at just 500 grams, making it easy to carry on extended shoots. The included petal-shaped lens hood provides additional protection against stray light and physical damage.

Beautiful bokeh is rendered by the 7-blade aperture, which closes to an almost-circular shape for those characteristic starlight effects in night photography. Minimum focusing distance of 0.2 metres lets you work intimately with subjects while maintaining that expansive wide-angle perspective.

180-degree ultra-wide angle of view

f/2.8 maximum aperture for superior low-light performance

Nano Coating System reduces flare and ghosting

Compact and lightweight at just 500g

Detachable petal-shaped lens hood included
