Lumix LX10 - Panasonic's latest enthusiast level Digital Compact camera
Panasonic know how to deliver a large-sensor, compact digital camera, they've been doing it longer than most of their competitors. This new addition to the family, the LX10, does not disappoint compared to its predecessors, more than worthy of carrying the torch on into the future.
Internally, the LX10 is built around a 20.1MP 1-inch Cmos sensor, providing supreme image quality in all circumstances. For the moving image the LX10 delivers 4K, transforming the moment in front of your eyes into a stunning motion picture. To capture all of this action is the bright f1.4-2.8 Leica DC 3x zoom lens, which is sharp and detailed as well as letting in plenty of light in order to aid in your handheld shooting abilities.
Further assisting with handheld shooting is Panasonic's very effective 5-axis hybrid Optical Image stabiliser. More than capable of disposing of a bit of camera shake, this stabiliser ensures you can take your camera out to dinner with you and continue to acquire sharp images into the evening.
Aimed at the enthusiast, the LX10 lends itself to creative control, with numerous features enabling quick changes by the willing and able. For those that know their exposure settings a physical aperture ring is included for Speedy aperture adjustments. A control dial is available on the top of the camera for adjusting numerous settings as well as a physical one around the front of the lens. At the rear of the camera is a 3-inch Lcd screen that is touch sensitive for quick and easy setting changes, as well as being tiltable 180 degrees to help with tricky compositions and self-esteem.
