The body of the New Nikon D6 DSLR is impressively rugged, being heat, weather and dust-resistant. It also features a robust shutter mechanism, which is capable of over 500,000 shutter releases. The D6 can be quiet when it needs to, with a new Silent Mode which doesn't hinder the performance of the camera - Live View is maintained, as well as a 10.5FPS continuous shooting rate.
