It is compact, lightweight and it will impress you with its brilliant performance; introducing the D3300 from Nikon. Weighing in at less than 500 grams with an easy-to-hold grip that fits nicely in the palm of your hand, this is a little camera perfect for everyday usage and for travel that will impress with features and performance for greater than its size would suggest.
A high-resolution 24MP Sensor
At the center of the D3300 is a 24 megapixel sensor that has been designed without an optical low-pass filter, which basically renders images ever sharper. This excellence in image quality can also be attributed to the EXPEED 4 processing engine, which is likewise responsible for the speedy performance of the camera and the brilliant low-light performance.
5FPS – Able to keep up with moving subjects
A 5 Frames per second continuous shooting drive makes the D3300 suitable to photograph any moving subject of your choice. From sports to wildlife to children this type of burst rate will provide you with the ability to take numerous high-quality images of your subject and you can simply pick the one you like the best in editing. Missing the shot of a lifetime due to lackluster equipment is a thing of the past!
A camera with the ability to guide you through
For the beginners the D3300 is the perfect counterpart to start you out on your learning curve into more advanced photographic skills. The in-built guide mode will take you through shooting various scenarios step-by-step, until you are confident to tackle these situations yourself. Impressing Full HD movie at 60p
Videographers will also find the D3300 to be a more than capable performer, with an offering of Full HD video at up to 60p. The result is smooth and natural looking footage that is simply remarkable for an entry level DSLR. Other video shooting features of note are the ability to change shutter speeds and exposures, focus both manually and automatically and the ability to add an external microphone via the 3.5mm jack.
