Nikon 12-24mm- a versatile ultra-wide lens

The Nikon 12-24mm is an ultra-wide angle lens that is suitable for a wide range of photographic uses, particularly sceneries and landscapes, architecture, and indoor photography where space is limited. Optically this lens is an excellent performer throughout its zoom range and with a constant f4 max aperture, it is a great option for shooting when the light is limited.

Optical construction

The Nikon 12-24mm utilises ED glass and molded aspherics - all you need to know about this is that it leads to sharp, highly-detailed images in all conditions. Thanks to the curved aperture blades, out of focus areas are smooth and natural looking from f4 to f22.

In use

Feel free to let this lens be your main shooter in discrete environments; with its silent wave motor at work the 12-24mm is quick and importantly silent to focus - never bringing you unwanted attention. Focussing is internal providing you with the added benefit of using filters with no issues. If you wish to swap to manual focus for increased control you don't need to mess around with changing settings - this lens offers manual override.
