Replacing the popular 804RC2 head, this Manfrotto MH804 3-way head provides the same reliability in a more portable and usable package. The portability of this Tripod head stems from the handles being completely retractable, which significantly cuts back on the storage space when the head is not in use. When using heavier lenses or bodies this head counteracts the off-centre weight with the use of a built in spring. The 4KG payload makes it usable for a vaierty of cameras including most DSLR kits, while the RC2-style quick release plate makes for quick and easy mounting and dismounting of your camera.

With its 3 retractable handles, this Manfrotto MH804-3W head is a portable option, great for travel. A replacement part for the 804RC2, this new model borrows the quick-release plate and Camlock system from its predecessor and it can be attached to any tripod or support system using the common 3/8"-16 mount. In terms of movements, this head is very versatile, rotating 360 degrees, tilting 90 degrees forward or 30 degrees backward, and 90 degrees sideways in order to shoot comfortably in portrait/vertical orientation. The 3 handles allow all of these movements to be performed independent of each other and locked securely into place.
Great for precise and accurate adjustments to image composition, this head features angle scales for each movement as well as an easy-to-see bubble level on the top, so you can keep track of your changes and ensure your camera is straight if that is your desire.
