James: Hi! I’m James and welcome to Get Teducated, today I’m going to discuss The Sigma 150-500 - an incredible lens which fits into Sigma’s super telephoto range with a focal length of 150-500mm, that’s an amazing 225-750mm when you use it on an APS-C SLR camera like the Nikon D7100 or Canon 70D. It comes equipped with Sigma’s Optical Stabiliser – Which is crucial as it compensates for camera shake when you’re zoomed right in, or in low light conditions, and reduces the chance of capturing blurry photos. This lens is perfect for nature, wildlife and sports photography and is quite a compact size considering its zoom capabilities; being only 25cms long and weighing around 1.8kg, makes it relatively portable as well.

It also comes with the Hyper Sonic Motor for quiet, fast and accurate auto focusing. In addition to this it is compatible with the Sigma USB dock which connects to your computer and allows you to update the firmware and fine tune features such as the focusing.
