About the instructor: John Cullen

Photography has always been a part of my life, and has influenced the way I see and experience the world. My interests as a young man led me to study Imaging-Science at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, USA.

Since which, I have operated a small wedding/portrait and commercial studio, also offering photography workshops, tuition and mentoring services as a way to share my knowledge and belief that photography can complement any lifestyle. I believe that continual curiosity in the way light plays across the environment, and a genuine interest in camera design helps to better achieve one’s photographic intent. I trust that the All About Photography Workshops will provide many straightforward strategies to help better realise your creative intent and achieve the photos you desire.
