The GoPro Hero 10 is yet another update the the ever-popular GoPro Hero adventure camera range. This camera is similar physically to the predecessor, the Hero 9, which means it can be used in combination with various Hero 9 accessories - this allows you to make the most of this powerful, yet portable camera. There are some impressive updates in this camera, which includes a new GP2 processor for speedier results and even better imaging performance, namely in dim conditions. HyperSmooth 4.0 technology is included, which assures results will be smooth and blur-free, even when you are pushing the camera to the limits with your exhilirating adventures. This stabilisation system also enables a more advanced horizon alignment, which means the camera will always endeavour to keep your footage level. Like any GoPro, the Hero 10 is ready for adventure when you are, with this portable powerhouse being waterproof to 10 meters.
We spoke previously of the improvements to the imaging prowess of the GoPro Hero 10; let's dig a little deeper. The 23.6MP image sensor can produce impressive stills, as well as 5.3K 60FPS videos. Slow-motion movies are simple to create in sublime quality, with lowering the resolution to 4K unleashing a 120FPS frame rate and 2.7K 240FPS footage also available. If, after you have captured your video footage you decide you would like to post a still from the event, you can now capture a high-resolution still directly from your high-quality footage.
Whether you are setting up your shot from behind your camera or you are mounting it to produce a POV shot, you will always be able to produce a pleasing framing using the GoPro Hero 10, thanks to it including dual LCD displays; one is front-facing, the other is a 2.27-inch rear-facing touch-sensitive LCD display, which has seen an update to its sensitivity and refresh rates. The lens at the front of the GoPro Hero 10 is poised to capture the best view of the action, with minimal fuss. It features a 132-degree field of view, which you can enhance to 155-degrees by using GoPro's max lens mod, and it also includes a hydrophobic lens coating which protects it out in the field and limits reflections.
