Fujifilm X-T50

The X-T50 is similar in stature to the extremely popular X-T30 II, but while that model features a lower resolution image sensor, this new model includes a 40 MP BSI APS-C sensor and X Processor 5 engine - we’ve seen these features before in the flagship X-T5. As well as the film simulation dial, the X-T50 includes shutter speed and exposure compensation dials, which pair with the aperture dial on most Fuji XF lenses, to provide hands-on, dial-based shooting, which is favoured by enthusiasts. Other highlights of this portable powerhouse include a two-way tilting LCD screen and a high-quality EVF for those who prefer the classic approach to framing - this EVF has an impressive 2.36 million dots for a brilliant image.

The high-resolution image sensor and advanced processor deliver brilliant image quality in all lighting conditions, from a low native ISO of 125 to the high ISOs required for low-light scenarios. This impressive image quality is extended to video results, with 6.2K 30p internal video recording on offer, as well as 4K60p and slow-motion suitable 1080/240p resolutions. The X-T50 has both F-Log and F-Log2 support, so video enthusiasts can enjoy recording expanded dynamic range and even greater latitude during post-production.

Also, thanks to the inclusion of the X-Processor 5, which is twice as fast as its predecessor, is a subject detection AF system, which utilises deep learning AI technology to detect the type of subject within the frame and track that subject accordingly. Subjects detected include animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects and drones.
