Emma Rothfield

Emma is a 21-year-old sports photographer based in Sydney. Reasonably new to photography, Emma's portfolio expands to covering a variety of sports events and concerts.

Studying Journalism at university, she has always found passion in telling stories, especially in sport. When she started working at football stadiums is where she discovered sports photography.

She thrives off the exhilaration, brought on by the up-close action and jubilant crowds.

Definitely sports photography! Witnessing the excitement and jubilation up close is something I never get used to. I’ve been so lucky to shoot at hundreds of games, and I still get goose bumps whenever there’s a big hit or an important try/goal. I don’t think that feeling will ever go away!
