The DJI RS4 gimbal offers the auto axis locks that have previously been found on flagship DJI gimbal models. This feature means the locks unlock upon power on and lock upon power off, which speeds up the filming, transition and storage process. The axis arms now also fold flatter, making this gimbal the best option for travel.

Balancing your camera on the DJI RS 4 Mini is easier than ever. Upgrades like Teflon™ interlayers (previously used on flagship gimbals) reduce friction for smoother balancing, while a new fine-tuning knob allows for precise, millimeter-level adjustments.  The quick-release plate with three positioning slots offers more balancing space and remembers your camera's position for quick re-attachment without needing to re-balance. The DJI RS 4 Mini's touchscreen interface is improved with clearer icons and smoother performance.  New status prompts have been added, and parameter adjustments are easier with direct fine-tuning via the front dial.  A new auto-lock feature dims the screen and displays the current gimbal and joystick modes, preventing accidental touches and saving battery life.
