Canon RF-S lenses are the perfect fit for Canon's popular APS-C format range of Mirrorless Cameras. These lenses have been created with a smaller image circle, which means they can only be used to their full potential on these crop-sensor cameras from Canon. Canon RF-S lenses have been designed so that Canon can offer wider fields of view on these smaller format cameras, as this is not possible using longer RF lenses due to crop factor (you can read more about that here.)
