Canon XA55

The Canon XA55 is a pro-level camcorder, which is notable for its high-quality video results and compact size. The XA55 uses a 1-inch image sensor to produce 4K resolution UHD 25P video. It also uses these 4K abilities to create stunning oversampled Full HD results. To frame these movies, this camera is home to a versatile 15x optical zoom lens, a lens which uses Canon's EF technology and resulting 9-blade circular aperture diaphragm to allow for beautiful and natural appearing out of focus areas. With its 5-axis Image Stabilisation, the XA55 provides users with the opportunity to move and shoot, without bumps and grinds ruining the smooth qualities of their video footage.

With its 3-inch touch LCD panel at the rear, the Canon XA55 permits touch AF, with which the camera uses Canon's excellent Dual Pixel AF technology for fast and smooth AF performance. With its removable handle, the XA55 features dual XLR inputs, as well as a 3.5mm Mic input and headphone output. Dual SD card slots are also available, so you can automatically backup your footage, as well as using a second card for overflow when the first card is full. Suited to professional endeavours, this camera features an SDI output which is best for transmission of high-quality video.
