The Canon Speedlite EL-1 FLash is the most powerful and full-featured flash gun that Canon has released so far. It is so good in fact, that it has been deemed a member of Canon's prestigious L-series, which is a first for a flash. This flash runs on a lithium rechargeable battery, so you can charge it up at the end of your shoot and won't have to stop by the store for spares. The EL-1 flash features a broad 14-stops of flexible power, so users can enjoy extremely subtle fill-flash, or powerful bursts. Super fast recharge times are available, while the flash is also capable of up to 160 continuous flashes in a row.

A first ever for a Canon Speedlite, the Canon Speedlite EL-1 is a member of Canon's high-end L-series. This flash is powerful and versatile, with 14 f-stops of adjustable power. It runs on a rechargeable lithium battery which is capable of approximately 335 flashes per charge. As well as recharging in between 0.1 to 0.9 seconds, the Canon EL-1 speedlite can fire up to 160 flashes continuously. Dual LED modelling lamps can be found on the unit, perfect for basic video lighting or checking your lighting before a shoot.
To get the flash setting perfect for each and every shot, the Canon Speedlite EL-1 features improved E-TTL support. This flash gun also includes Flash Exposure memory, which means it stores your output for later use, even if you switch modes. This versatile flash unit features a swiveling bounce head and a zoom range of 20-200mm. It is dust and moisture-resistant, so it can be used both in studio and on location, while a new and improved joystick can be found at the rear of the unit, ideal for adjusting all flash settings including wireless functionality.
