Ever wondered what happens to the camera Ted’s get as part of trade in promotion that we run a couple of times a year?
Well once the cameras have been checked and confirmed that they are in working order we organise to donate them to various charities around the World.
Cameras from our most recent “Trade Up” promotion were donated to the Shika charity in Tanzania, Shika is registered not for profit organisation which aims to provide education opportunities for the poorest people in region.
They have run a successful sponsorship programme assisting nearly 100 orphans, vulnerable children to get access to the quality education they deserve.
The cameras we provided are being used in the The Watoto Wanaweza After School Centre in Arusha, Tanzania. A support centre working in partnership with local schools to deliver a package of support to the most vulnerable and poverty stricken children in the community.
As you can see from the photos below, the children loved their new cameras.

If you would like to help Shika further you can help support them by sponsoring a child's education, volunteering in Tanzania, or fundraising to help them with the running costs of the after school centre. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.shika.org.uk
