  Teds and Nikon are teaming up for the legendary RAA Bay to Birdwood event and you're invited to join the ride!

  Picture this: over 1,500 vintage vehicles cruising the stunning 67-kilometre stretch from Barratt Reserve to the National Motor Museum in Birdwood. It's not just a parade, it's a rolling museum of motoring history, and you're front row on Dequetteville Terrace.

  Whether you're a shutterbug or just love the roar of a classic engine, we’ve got you covered. Our crew will be loaded with cameras and lenses galore, ready to help you snap the perfect shot of that gleaming chrome, roaring V8, or quirky vintage scooter.

  Expect good vibes, great company, and a whole lot of nostalgia. Soak in the atmosphere, swap stories with fellow enthusiasts, and let the spirit of the open road take you back in time.

  What you will learn?

  • Set up your gear to take jaw dropping images

  • How to compose your shot to tell a better story

  • Learn how to pan

  • Different auto focus modes to make the job easier

  What to bring?

  We’ll have a full arsenal of Nikon bodies and lenses for you to test-drive. Prefer your own setup? Bring it along! Just don’t forget your SD card, you’ll want to keep every epic shot.

  • Workshops are operating at reduced capacity to ensure customer experiences are not overcrowded.
  • Workshop areas and demonstrational products are regularly sanitised.
  • If at any time rules or regulations are implemented by either Federal or State Governments (e.g. the use of face masks or social distancing requirements), you must adhere to these rules in order to participate in this workshop.

  • Workshops are operating at reduced capacity to ensure customer experiences are not overcrowded
  • Upon signing in for this event, you will be asked to sanitise your hands before handling demonstrational products
  • We encourage the use of face masks particularly in indoor settings, and if your state government requires their use at any given time, you must wear one in order to participate in this workshop
  • Social distancing measures are in place for all indoor workshops/experiences, and for outdoor workshops/experiences we strongly encourage social distancing where physically possible
  • There is strictly no sharing of demonstrational products - if you are allocated any demonstrational products to try, you must hand these back to your workshop trainer for cleaning before they can be given to another customer
