  Please Note: This Course is designed for children of school ages between 12 & 18 years.*
  
  Do you want to learn how to capture a droplet of water on a flower petal? Then this course is for you!!

  Come and join us for our fun and interactive Macro Flower Photography workshop where you will learn how to get closer than your eye can to capture finer details of your subject.

  Topics Covered:
  

  • The use of Macro lenses
  • Understanding Camera Aperture
  • Using Depth of Field
  • Composition
  • Lens Ratios and detail

  What to Bring:
  

  • Cameras and lenses will be supplied courtesy of Canon. 
    If you prefer to bring your own, you are more than welcome. Just make sure you charge your batteries!
  • Memory Card so you can keep all your photos from the day
  • Tripod (optional)
  • Any flowers or objects you wish to photography (otherwise, we have some for you to borrow)

  *The School Holiday Program is strictly for children of school ages between 12-18 years. Anyone outside of this age range will not be permitted to participate on the day.

  Parents, you are more than welcome to accompany your child/children for the session.

  Our Ted's Academy Trainer's all have a valid Working with Children Check.

  • Workshops are operating at reduced capacity to ensure customer experiences are not overcrowded.
  • Workshop areas and demonstrational products are regularly sanitised.
  • If at any time rules or regulations are implemented by either Federal or State Governments (e.g. the use of face masks or social distancing requirements), you must adhere to these rules in order to participate in this workshop.

  • Upon signing in for this event, you will be asked to sanitise your hands before handling demonstrational products
  • We encourage the use of face masks particularly in indoor settings, and if your state government requires their use at any given time, you must wear one in order to participate in this workshop
  • Social distancing measures are in place for all indoor workshops/experiences, and for outdoor workshops/experiences we strongly encourage social distancing where physically possible
  • There is strictly no sharing of demonstrational products - if you are allocated any demonstrational products to try, you must hand these back to your workshop trainer for cleaning before they can be given to another customer
