PC–Free photograph printing
One of the PictureMate 215's greatest features is its true portability. There's no need at all to be connected to a computer to print out your photographs. It's all about total photograph printing freedom. Simply insert your camera's memory card into the PictureMate 215's card slot and use the in–built 2.5 inch LCD viewer and straightforward control panel to view, select and print your photographs.
You can even access your photographs using PictBridge and USB Direct Print enabled cameras and making it even more flexible and compatible with today's lifestyle is the optional support for Bluetooth. With this, your PictureMate 215 can connect wirelessly to a Bluetooth compatible device – such as a mobile phone – and print your photos without waiting.
Professional quality photographs
With a maximum resolution of 5760 Optimised dpi (when connected to a PC) using Resolution Performance Management (RPM) technology, the Epson PictureMate 215 generates outstanding quality photo prints using ink droplets as tiny as 2pl.
The PictureMate 215 has been designed specifically to make quality photograph printing – as easy as possible. With features such as true BorderFree photographs, where the photograph is printed right to each edge of the photo paper, along with ink dots so small that they're at the limit of human visibility, the PictureMate 215 is an amazingly powerful printer.
Adding also to the undeniable quality of PictureMate 215 is a newly developed dye–based ink that delivers colours so brilliant and bright, that in many cases the range of colours can actually exceed that which you would expect from professional photo developing lab.
PicturePack – Ink and Paper
Print photos at home hassle–free with Epson's PicturePack! Epson's PicturePack is an economical and convenient pack that contains a single photo cartridge and photo paper to print 150 glossy 4 x 6" photos. With an RRP of $42 including GST for the PicturePack, the price for a photo printed from the PictureMate 215 rivals traditional photo processing costs at just over 28 cents per photo.

Auto picture display: As soon as a memory card is inserted in the PictureMate 215's memory card slot, the unit automatically retrieves the files and displays the first one on the in–built 2.5–inch colour LCD.
Simplified control panel: Forget about complex operations. With the PictureMate 215 control panel, selecting, viewing, and printing photographs is a simple fingertip operation.
Bundled software: When the PictureMate 215 is connected to a PC or Apple computer, a range of bundled software makes printing, managing and editing your photographs incredibly easy.

Photographs in 42 seconds
At the touch of a button, the PictureMate 215 can deliver photo lab quality prints in 42 seconds.
Underpinning the printer's ability to achieve such high print time performance is a combination of Epson inkjet photo printing technologies – such as the MicroPiezo print head, which exerts exceptional levels of control over ink droplet formation and positioning.
This technology combination also features Epson's widely acclaimed Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT), which enables the print head to generate five different sized ink droplets, with the smallest being used for fine detail in the photograph and the larger sizes for areas of solid colour.
