Credit Card Verification Process
Why may I be asked to supply further Identification?
Your transaction via the Ted’s Camera Store web site and the National Australia Bank/Dialect Secure Internet Payment Gateway is 100 percent safe to use.
Ted’s Camera Store adheres to strict security checks to reduce the chance of credit card fraud.
Although your credit card is processed through an electronic payment gateway, this process of funds is not acknowledgement of a successful transaction according to the Ted’s Camera Store security policy.
All Credit Card details will go through an Address Verification (AV) process. If the AV fails Ted's Camera Store will seek additional proof of identity.
(To prevent this extra request Ted's ask that all information is supplied and that all fields are completed.

What may cause my AV to fail?
You must supply the billing address & phone number that matches the credit card you have used.
Please note PO Boxes and Mobile Phone numbers are not acceptable.
Ted's will use this information to match the credit card to the details you have supplied.
If you wish to have the goods shipped to an alternative address please supply a "ship to" address in the comments section of the order form.
Quick processing of your order
If Ted's cannot verify your address via your local white pages we will request additional identification. This may delay the shipping of your order. To expedite the delivery of your order please be sure all information is present and correct.
If there is a reason for delivery details varying from your phone directory detail please makes a note in our comments box on the shopping cart.
Note: The BPAY payment option accepts credit card and requires no address verification.

Promotion Codes
Occasionally, Ted’s Camera Stores Online will offer certain customers promotion codes of various discount amounts from time to time. Customers may need to first purchase a minimum value of products from Ted’s Camera Stores Online in order to qualify for a promotion code.
These promotion codes can only be redeemed on Ted’s Camera Stores Online. Promotion codes can be used any number of times within the promotion dates specified on the promotions terms and conditions.
When you order on Ted’s Camera Stores Online and you choose to redeem a promotion code, the discount associated with the promotion code will be credited to your order.
Each promotion code will expire on the date shown on the promotions terms and conditions. The discount associated with the promotion code cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or redeemed in any relevant retail store. If you misplace your promotion code, we cannot replace it.

This confirms that the shopper is who they say they are when providing card details to an online shop. Cardholders can sign up to the service with their card provider at no cost. If the correct password is not entered, no authorisation will be given for the purchase, making credit card fraud virtually impossible. |

Australia Post Person-to-Person
Ted's Camera Stores use Australia Post person-to-person Registered Mail delivery for all online sales.
This ensures that the article is specifically signed for by the person named in the address. The cost of delivery is a flat rate of $14.95.
Delivery Times: Standard Delivery Time is 3 to 5 Working Days
As Australia Post Person-to-Person requires a signature and proof of ID from the person named on the order, you will be asked to specify an address during business hours that delivery can be made to and signed for (this may be your work address). If you are not available at the time of delivery, a card will be left for you at that address asking you to contact Australia and arrange an alternative delivery or pick up of your order.
Note: Ted’s Camera Stores do not deliver to any other countries other than Australia.

You may elect to pick up your online purchase at any Ted’s Camera Store in Australia. There is no charge for this service.
Please allow 24 hours for verification of your payment and to check the store selected has the products ordered in stock.

Returns
14 Day Exchange Guarantee
If for any reason you are not happy with your hardware purchase, Ted´s Camera Stores offer a 14 day Exchange Guarantee. This allows you to return a hardware product you have purchased within 14 days and exchange it (at original purchase price) for any other hardware product in our range.
Goods must be returned in original condition with the packaging and receipt.
Offer excludes perishables (such as film, chemistry and inks), special orders, demo models & run-outs. Some professional products are excluded.
The purchased items can be sent back or taken to a Ted’s store to be exchanged. Return postage is not included.
Ted's 14 day exchange guarantee is in addition to any statutory consumer rights.

Manufacturer’s Warranty
All manufacturers offer a 12 month warranty. Should your Ted’s purchase need service under warranty you can bring it to any Ted’s Camera Store to facilitate the service under the terms of your Manufacturer’s warranty.

Terms & Conditions for Ted’s 2 Year Extended Warranty
If within 24 months from expiry of the original manufacturer warranty the product fails to function because of defects in material or workmanship, Ted's Camera Store will, at their option, either repair or replace the product free of charge.
This is provided that the original purchaser returns the product together with this the extended guarantee card issued at the time of purchase and the original guarantee.
This guarantee does not cover finishes or batteries, nor does it cover damage or defect resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, dirt, water or battery leakage, tampering or servicing performed or attempted by unauthorised person/s.
In no event will Ted's Camera Store be responsible for consequential loss or damage resulting from the use of the product.
