Panasonic Lumix FT3

Travelled for three weeks in Europe taking many snaps and video clips. Have not printed any yet but results look good. GPS did not always update but this may be my fault I have yet to read the instructions.Battery life probably OK for normal use but on holidays a second battery is a must.

For an easy to use camera that you can take anywhere you can't beat the Panasonic Lumix FT3. I use it daily when I take my dogs to the beach to capture those memories. You don't have to worry about the camera getting wet or dropping it. Great clear photos

Love the fact that camera is drop-proof, water proof and snow proof (altho snow and drops haven't been tested). Can't wait to take it on holidays!

visually speaking, i feel like the new waterproof/shockproof lumix is less attractive, with a faded metalic look i do not enjoy. it is a shame that the camera is not crushproof as this is a concern of mine. i would have like to have stayed with the olypus range as they are more reslient, however the overall better quality of the lumix is second to none therefore i had to opt for it!

This ft3 is worth every cent I have spent on it my favourite feature that the camera has would be the gps and the waterproof is great

Screen size good but would have preferred choice of using view finder as well

Cons: Menu settings are a bit complicated and not intuitive.

I bought this mostly for taking on extended bicycle rides where I can't be certain of keeping dry and clean. Its small, tough and takes great pictures. What has surprised me is how well it performs in low light with the flash off. The anti-shake is really effective and auto exposure gives great results, e.g. even in a cocktail bar at night! On the other hand the GPS is fine once it realises its needed, but even when "on" and supposedly always monitoring location, it needs to be told to refresh itself at the beginning of a day or after a while inside where it can't see the satellites, otherwise the location it records is way out of date. It would be better if it gave no record on these occasions than incorrect data.

It's been an early christmas present, so hasn't has much use yet. But so far it certainly ticks all the boxes. We're rapt!!

Instore service was excellent when purchasing the camera. Have been very happy with the product and it takes crisp clear photos. Haven't as yet used the underwater feature but have enjoyed trying out all the other features. A good sized, relatively compact camera that takes great photos and is easy to use. Would definitely recommend it to others.

you can do alot of things with it, Im still trying out all programs the on it.

Good quality, easy to use camera.
The only big drawback is that you have to remove the battery from the camera to charge it.
Why not have a USB type connection?
The technology IS available guys!

Several people suggested buying this camera because of the quality of photos & ease of use. It has lived up to the suggestions.I have had great fun using & learning about this camera, the photos I have taken so far have been great & with time I hope I will become as good as the camera can make me.

Had it on the Amazon, down death road, up and down mountains and all through the cities. Works very well. Hope for a better start up and faster time between shots. But for what I needed it for (to not break on me!) it has done very well. Would prefer to have a faster reaction while taking sports shots but on the whole I am happy with the unit.

This camera is is easy to use and can be used for every occasion.

It seems like a compact, easy to use, rugged camera. Close up shots look good although I have been disappointed with general picture sharpness. For the price I would have expected better picture quality. The GPS looks like a good feature once set up. Camera functions are not as intuitive as other cameras. The silicon jacket is a great extra feature to further "ruggedise" the camera.

This camera is very easy to use, built like a tank, it has GPS and waterproof!
The only problem is the noisy photo at night, which I think is quite okay, since this kind of camera was not designed to do night photography.
The conclusion is this camera really great! I'm looking forward to take it to the great barrier reef!

Fantastic camera, great resolution, attractive camera compared to other waterproof makes, great value for money, awesome camera for caving, snorkelling and any outdoor activity. I have used it extensively under water and in dirty, sandy enviroments and have had no issues with leakage, it performs well very time. Couldn't be happier! I would reccomend it to any one seeking a waterpproof camera!

I have found this camera to be exceptional. The image quality is pristine. Once you familiarize yourself with its layout/functions its very easy to use.
I have used it from low light conditions through to sunny days, action shots of my dog and underwater footage of my 6 month old son's first ever swim in the pool. (Wow!)
Then there is the video quality. This easily matches if not exceeds the quality of photos.
I replayed my pool/underwater video clips of my son on a 42" LCD Full HD Television and I really couldn't fault the quality. If anything, I was quite impressed.
And yes I have dropped it by accident from just under a meter onto a concrete driveway and I'm struggling to find a scratch from its fall.

Great Camera for the keen outdoors person and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of traveling this globe.
