Did buy the 1100HS but took it back for the 240HS
Picture quality is what I wanted and with 16mp in a compact it's the best for it's size.
The other features are standard and exceptable.
The wi fi feature...... no one's going to use {a bit of bloatware}
The 16mp is the most important feature. The 16:9 stills don't get the 16mp but are ok for droping into a HD video production.
All round great camera to carry in your pocket any where on a weekend out.

- When shooting in black and white, remember the eye goes to the lightest part of the scene first.
- Don’t be afraid of some things going totally black. It adds to the drama of the scene.
